Our Routes from Preston on Wye

For full day paddling we recommend: Whitney-on-Wye to Preston-on-Wye or Preston-on-Wye to Hereford.

For a longer trip we highly recommend Glasbury to Preston on Wye. This is a great two day trip stopping overnight at Whitney on Wye.-W

Launch and Landing Points

The access point for Canadian canoes & kayak hire is located about 100 meters below Hay Bridge on the right hand bank where there is also a small car park (free). Hay-on-Wye is a good half-way stop on a day long paddle between Glasbury and Whitney-on-Wye.

Don’t forget we also have the capability to provide canoe or kayak hire from any of our other landing points on the River Wye.
