Canoe hire Chepstow. Chepstow is a beautiful historic town and is well worth viewing from the river as the castle rises up directly from the cliffs as you enter the town. The town has plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as the castle which is always of interest to tourists visiting the area.

Launch and Landing Points

Chepstow is our final stop along the river Wye so we cannot provide canoe hire from Chepstow, however this is a fantastic location to finish your river trip. The landing place is on the right just under the first bridge. We can collect your canoes and transport you back to your start point.

To start your journey to Chepstow by canoe or kayak we would recommend starting either in Monmouth (full day) or Brockweir (half day). In Monmouth the launch point is on the right hand bank just up from the bridge at Monmouth Rowing Club. At Brockweir the launch point is from the old quay on the left hand bank just before the bridge.

Don’t forget we also have the capability to provide canoe or kayak hire from any of our other landing points on the River Wye.
