Canoe Hire Brockweir. Brockweir is a small village just upstream from Tintern on the Wye Valley. It has a great pub (the Brockweir Inn) and is a perfect spot to finish a canoe trip down the River Wye.

Launch and Landing Points

Brockweir is one of our last landing points along the River Wye. Landing takes place on the left hand bank just before the bridge at the quay. We do not recommend going further downstream unless you have an instructor with you as it is very tidal and paddlers need to sure that there will be enough water either at Tintern or Chepstow to land.

Due to the tides, we would recommend finishing in Brockweir rather than starting here. Starting from our launch point in Monmouth is perfect for a day of paddling down the river to Brockweir, and this is one of our most popular routes. The launch point in Monmouth can be found at Monmouth Rowing Club on the right hand side of the river, just up from the bridge.
