For a full day paddling we would recommend: Hereford to Hoarwithy, passing Holme Lacy Bridge en route.

Launch and Landing Points

The access point for Canadian canoes & kayak hire is located about 100 meters below Hay Bridge on the right hand bank where there is also a small car park (free). Holme Lacy Bridge is a good half-way stop on a day long paddle between Glasbury and Whitney-on-Wye.

Don’t forget we also have the capability to provide canoe or kayak hire from any of our other landing points on the River Wye.
